If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog.

This month we have over 70 talented Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month’s Stamp of the Month and other great Close To My Heart products on their blogs. Here we go!

March SOTM Birthday Card

I have been wanting to try a stencil look and the frames included in the Choose Happy stamp set seemed perfect.  I stamped the frame I wanted onto scrap white paper and cut it out to use as a mask.  I then used temporary tape to attach this image as a mask. With the stamped mask in place, I sponged Canary ink all over a white base.  After the base dried I random-stamped flowers from “Flowers for Mom.”  I used Pixie and Juniper inks for the flowers.  Finally I removed my mask to reveal a white space just the size of the frame.  I stamped the floral frame in Juniper and used the happy stamp (I masked the choose part).  I also used the birthday stamp from “Your Own Kind of Wonderful.”

For finishing touches (and a bit more pink to match my card base) I added Pixie twine and a pixie flower from the Brushed Assortment.  I added a bit more pink by coloring some of the flowers in with my tender pink marker.  All I had to do after that was attach it to my pixie card base.  This might be one of the quickest birthday cards I’ve ever made!
