Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! We will be using January’s Stamp of the Month, This Moment. If you have come here from Wendy’s blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog.
This month we have over 60 talented Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month’s Stamp of the Month and other great Close To My Heart products on their blogs. Here we go!
I used a swing card pattern from Artfully Sent (there are so many great images on this cartridge), but there are also cuts for swing cards on the Artiste Cartridge (in case you are still saving up for Artfully Sent. This card was super quick and easy because I didn’t have to think about patterns or templates for the swing card. Have I mentioned that the Cricut and Close To My Heart’s cartridges are AMAZING?!
Anyway, I used the arrow patterned paper from the Chalk It Up paper packet as the base of the swing card. Since I wanted the triangle side to show in the circle when the card was opened, I used the Cricut again to cut a circle and glued it onto the inside of the card. I also used the Chalk it Up Assortment to add embellishments.
I used the stamp of the month, This Moment, for all of the stamped images. I did the target in Lagoon. I also stamped the same image in Sorbet so that I could cut out the heart and attach it to my Lagoon colored target. The arrows are stamped with VersaMark ink and embossed using gold embossing powder.
