This month we have over 60 talented Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month’s Stamp of the Month and other great Close To My Heart products on their blogs. Here we go!
I was inspired by the playful cupcakes and decided to use bright colors. I used a colonial white card base and some scraps of glacier and cotton candy card stock. I love turning scrap paper into cute cards! I stamped the cupcake image from the Cutie Pie Stamp of the Month in Glacier onto the glacier paper to create my own pattern paper. I also used the heart stamp to fill in a few spaces.
I used each cupcake stamp across the top of the card. To get the cute cupcake on the base I just stamped twice on scrap paper. I did the cupcake once with Chocolate ink and then again with Cotton Candy. I fussy cut the top of the Holly Hock cupcake and colored in the cherry with Tender Pink. All I had to do was attach this top over the chocolate cupcake to get a two-colored (and super cute) cupcake.
